My 2011 610 engine has bad knock/sound when appling the gas from idle to get going. My mule clunks loudly in 4wd only, never in 2wd. Sounds like something loose and hitting.

There is clunking sound while driving at slow to fast speeds ( 2 or 4 wheel drive). Only 8 hours on the mule.but i immediately noticed this problem that others have had. Trying to decide if this is just a noise problem, or something that could development into. Fully charged starter makes rapid clicking noise.

I recently bough a 2018 mule 4010 4x4 (610 hours). The knocking sound comes from the engine pulley, right side of the machine. With the mule completely jacked up, i can turn the front wheels by hand and there is no noise, although it seems to be a bit tight. It isn't quite tight enough and it rattles, and sounds exactly like a main bearing knock.
In 4wd off the ground, the front wheels will spin one.
I posted in the fb kawasaki group and was told by a poster there that tire psi was a factor and can be helpful in reducing. What do i look for? Feels like it is skipping a gear and it is a hard clunk. Kawasaki mule 610 new battery but little to no power to solenoid.
The knocking is coming from the rear head only but i couldn't pin point the sound anywhere else while using a stethescope. Apparently, if over filled, oil will spill into the bottom of the air filter case. Runs quiet after that and seems to have good.
